So to make a long story short I won the 2022 Golden Lens Award in the category “New Talent”. This means a lot to me because it’s totally an honour for any young photographer to win such a prestigious prize. I am super happy and proud, really don’t know what to say.
This prestigious photo contest is from the tradition of picture of the year contests, and it’s something I’ve wanted to enter for years, but I held back, thinking I would never be one of the finalists or win a prize. Now that I have I can’t stop smiling and looking at my name on the website. It feels good to be recognized as a professional photographer.
